SK Maths Builder is a three-tier practice tool covering the maths content on the Victorian Selective Entry High School (SEHS) exam. It holds over 200 questions across foundation, intermediate, and advanced tiers, mapped to the ACER maths syllabus. Students progress through the tiers as their confidence and accuracy grow.
Section 1 of the SEHS exam combines Maths and Quantitative Reasoning into a 60-minute test. Maths accuracy under time pressure is one of the biggest differentiators between students who pass and those who just miss out. SK Maths Builder helps by:
Start at the foundation tier, work through the questions at your own pace, and review any wrong answers with the worked explanations. Move to the next tier when your accuracy is above 75 percent. Aim for 20-30 minutes of practice per session.
Do not rush. SEHS maths rewards careful reading and neat working more than raw speed. Keep a notebook of mistakes and revisit them weekly. If a tier feels too hard, drop back one level for a week and rebuild confidence before climbing again.
