SK Edge Prep is an educational preparation platform for the Victorian Selective Entry High School (SEHS) examination. It is operated by SK (SK) under the business name Smarty Kids Parenting, ABN 27 391 734 350, based in Caroline Springs, Victoria, Australia.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. Each account is for a single family only. You may not share login credentials, access codes or accounts with others. Login activity, device fingerprints and IP addresses are logged with every session. Accounts found to be shared between families will be permanently suspended without refund and the matter may be reported to the relevant authorities.
Each child must have their own account with a separate email address. Up to 4 children can share one device using the Family Profile Switcher. Each profile's practice data, scores and progress are kept completely separate and isolated from other profiles on the same device.
All payments are processed via PayID bank transfer to 0424 429 101 or skedgeprep@gmail.com. There is no automated billing. Subscriptions are activated manually by SK after payment is confirmed. Access codes for mock tests are provided by email after payment verification, typically within 2 hours during business hours.
Writing evaluations are generated by AI (Claude by Anthropic, Gemini by Google, and Llama by Meta, depending on availability). These evaluations are educational tools intended to guide practice and improvement. They are not produced by human markers.
AI feedback is for practice and improvement purposes only. It is not an official assessment and should not be treated as one. Scores and band levels are indicative of performance on the platform - they are not predictive of exam results or selective entry outcomes.

We use technical measures to protect content, including watermarks, copy protection and session limits (maximum 2 active devices per account). Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
We display account holder information (first name, last initial and masked email address) on content screens for security and content protection purposes. This helps prevent unauthorised sharing of paid content. The watermark is visible during practice sessions and on results and reports. By using the platform, you acknowledge and accept that this information will be displayed on screen during your sessions.
You may use this platform for genuine educational preparation only. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, copy, redistribute or commercially exploit any content on this platform. Automated access, bots and abuse of trial evaluations are strictly prohibited.
Your child's writing submissions are used only to generate evaluations. They are never used to train AI models, sold to third parties, or shared publicly. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
SK Edge Prep provides educational tools, not a guarantee of exam admission. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this platform. Our total liability to you does not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days prior to a claim.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be communicated by email.

We collect the minimum information needed to run the platform. We never sell your data to third parties. Your child's writing is never used to train AI models. We store data on Cloudflare's Australia-connected infrastructure where possible.

Account and evaluation data is stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (KV and D1). Cloudflare operates data centres in Australia, and we use Australia-connected infrastructure where possible. Data may also be replicated across global regions for performance and reliability. Payment confirmation records are logged to a private Google Sheet accessible only to SK.
Account data is retained for 2 years after last login. Essay history and practice scores are retained for 1 year. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing skedgeprep@gmail.com.

This is a security measure to protect paid content from unauthorised redistribution. The watermark data is derived from the information you provide at registration.
We use browser localStorage for session management only. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

SK is a small operation, not a corporation. Our default policy is no refunds - please use the free trial to make sure the platform is right for your child before purchasing. If something genuinely went wrong, contact SK directly. We resolve issues honestly and quickly.
All purchases are non-refundable by default. We offer a 7-day free trial on the Writing Lab so you can evaluate the platform before committing. We strongly recommend using the free trial before making a purchase.
Where a refund is approved as an exception (see product-specific conditions below), a $15 administration fee applies and will be deducted from the refund amount.
Current plans: Starter $59 (4 evaluations), Regular $99 (8 evaluations), Intensive $149 (20 evaluations). Evaluations are included in the pack and do not expire within 12 months of purchase.
Email skedgeprep@gmail.com with your name, email used for purchase and the reason for your request. SK responds within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed via bank transfer to your nominated BSB and account number, typically within 3 business days. The $15 administration fee is deducted from all approved exception refunds.
These terms do not override your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of this policy.
